Latest addition to the ol' collection - long overdue.

haha, my fairer half and her sister played through the first Sonic just the other week...got an emulator on PC and it's bang-on faithful (i had it back in the day).

playing it nowadays i really appreciated the graphics, music, devious obstacles and interesting level design...good game to be fair which has aged well, and quite hard. just got annoyed at the same bwwooooaa! sound everytime you jump.

Streets of Rage is next, we had a quick bash and it was still fun. And what a soundtrack.

Going even further back to C64 days i kinda fancy playing through Turrican again.

Turrican is still in my top 10 of all time. Turrican 2 was also great. Loved the first Half-Life too, proper spiritual successor.

Never played Saboteur.

thinking back...Microprose Soccer, Commando, Barbarian, California Games, Decathlon, Impossible Mission (hardest game ever?) and those text adventures like The Hobbit:

'koff PS+ with the arty crap. Walking simulators need to die in a fire. They aren't games, they're slightly interactive stories. And it probably gets 9/10s AOTS as people in general are stupid(see Trump being president).

That's going to be the entire Virtual Reality catalogue for the next half a decade mate.
