Is it easy on PS4 mate? When I did it on PS3 a good few years ago it took bloody ages and was a massive ball ache. But weirdly worth it.

You can just drop the files into one folder and then import them all at the same time this year, apparently.

I've realised that one of my major gripes with FIFA is switching from PES controls - it really messes me up. I could switch it to legacy defending, but I see that as cheating and I don't think you can use it online and I only really play online. I end up with buttons all over the shop and it cramps up me digits!

Just played FIFA again... and increasingly I'm starting to think I'll have to get PES, despite the obvious reasons not to.

Some of you guys must have terrible attention to detail or not bother to actually try out the new gameplay mechanics. This is the only possible explanation for people not noticing the drastic improvements in this years edition. Close control, hold up play, shooting etc are all massively improved, the team mate AI is way better in terms of defensive positioning and they now make more initelligent runs as well. The entire game is also more responsive. This was all noticeable within five minutes of playing.

Usually the changes are subtle but they they are VERY obvious this year, which makes some of the posts in this thread even more bemusing.

I feel bad for the devs, they finally pull their finger out and make big improvements and they still get a bunch of clueless kids on twitter telling them it's same as last year.

Absolutely hate forced camera angles on third person games especially if you're pressing the stick to travel a certain way and because programmers chose a goofy angle for their next "shot" your character moves in the opposite direction to what is needed.

I've tried doing that but it was the "apply pressure" and "jockey" controls that threw me.

I'm not happy about the Liverpool connection either. I'm just hoping they're not plastered all over the menus ect... I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I pick it up.

Having had a decent dance with Pes online, I can confirm it's ace!

It's slower and more methodical this year and the whole thing feels more "weighty". The goalkeepers are really good too, producing double saves all over the shop.

Before I had my first game I updated all of the badges and kits and they all look great. If anyone's arsed (I'm sure 99% of you aren't) here's a link and guide to get them all:
