Computer games.

After a fortnight of trying to like No Man's Sky, I've given up.

It's a dreadfully poor game. Just a repetitive grindfest with no overall objectives, no logical progression, no real community and no point.

The planets don't have a billion quintillion possibilities - or whatever they claimed. They have about five different looks and then are painted different colours.

It's like a Lego version of Elite Dangerous with all of the character of a breeze block.

This is a game that will soon disappear - yet another concept swallowed by its own hype.

Very disappointed.

Yes, I feel the same way unfortunately (except calling it a Lego Elite is a bit too much of a compliment). It is a very, very simple survival crafting game that adds in the very basic spaceflight aspect.

I have gone back to Rimworld (currently in early access) for now, which looks like a very basic game, but is in fact a complex base building simulator that really requires a bit of brainpower to be successful at.

So much this. Amazing, amazing game.

Glad I don't go for NMS yet, might pick this up when it's goes for less then £20.

Btw Street Fighter is only £20 on PlayStation

I would really like to play Fifa online against others, but I find the game so hard to learn properly. Like learning all the tricks and combinations, so I wouldn't stand a chance against anyone...

Basically the exact opposite of NMS....which looks really complex, but is in fact one of the simplest games I have played in a long time.

Kinda sad to see it out-Spore'ing Spore. I love the concept and the aesthetic of it, too bad the execution was so poor.

I held off buying it since I won't have a computer that could play it for a couple more paychecks. Looks like I dodged a bullet there.

Picked up Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on Friday.
Really enjoying it so far. If you liked 'Human Revolution' then you'll like this.

It's more of the same with a new location, better graphics and new toys to play with.

Where it really stands out is on the level design.
It works like the last game with small open hub areas with main missions and sidequests to find. But it really rewards exploration with loads of little secrets hidden around and usually several ways to get to and complete your objectives.

Through the front door guns blazing, stealth over the rooftops with a tranq sniper rifle or maybe talk your way past the guards.

Highly recommended! :)

Replaying Witcher 3 for the first time with its DLCs, what a game this is. Playing on ultra at 1440p, it's a beauty too.

Textures on the botchling made me feel a little sick seeing it again
