Computer games.

its not nonsense at all. Many companys doesnt bother/ want to spend extra money to give pc-users better graphics than the console-owners.

The witcher 3, despite looking fantastic, could have looked even better on pc.
It came out simultaneously on pc xbox and ps. Even CD Projekt has agreed, had this not been the case it could have looked a lot prettier on the pc and taken advantage of more technology.

The Witcher isn't the only victim of this -for instance; Dark Souls 2, where lighting and graphical fidelity was a late victim of the need for a better framerate to the consoles.

It is nonsense.

You implied that games which launch on both consoles and PC will look graphically dated. Clearly not true. The Witcher 3 did not look graphically dated on the consoles at release.

Saying "it could look better on PC" is a totally different thing and also blatantly obvious.

There's no excuse for Fallout 4 to look like it does on consoles.

To be fair, some games have graphically rolled themselves back from their true capability so as to not present an inferior version on console to the PC.

I agree with you in that I don't think that's the case with Fallout. I think the assets have been in place for some years, which is why they look dated, because they simply are.

Why bother when the modding community do it for you for free?

Fallout 4 tomorrow, got a week sorted to dive straigth in, nea if the graphic seem poor compared to some recent games, its fallout and thats what counts.

Anyone played bloodborne yet? Looking into picking it up but is it more demon souls in feel/difficulty or say dark souls 2? Hopefully the former
