Computer games.

Same. Absolutely loved 2.

They got the location and feels for the times so spot on.

If actually pay for a PS4 remastered version of it I loved it so much.

Only finished playing it for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

One of the best games i have played.

Following years of rumors, 2K Games on Tuesday officially announced Mafia 3.

An image released on Twitter teases the location and time period for Mafia 3, though 2K has yet to confirm the information. We also see four people backlit by headlights in cars.

No information was provided regarding platforms or a developer.

More information about Mafia will be announced during Gamescom in August. GameSpot will be on the ground at the German gaming event to bring you all the news as it happens.

Mafia3

Delighted here. Bloody loved 2.

Great news.

I don't think Mafia 2 made sense in terms of an open world (bit like LA Noire) as it was very focused and linear, and it also lacked much to do outside of the story. That said, it was really engaging, the aesthetic was spot on and the writing was good. I loved it.

Me too. It wasn't perfect as @RFUS says, but I don't think it was really meant to be played as an open world game. More a linear story set in a decently sized City.

Can't wait for this third one.

Was Mafia 1 any good?

Personally I just don't agree with open world games that don't benefit from the structure. Driving around was nice enough I guess but everything good about Mafia 2 came from its linearity and tight focus. It gave you no toys to play with or no reason to really explore (meaningless collectibles don't cut it really) so I just didn't understand why it was open world.

Not a big deal though. It's a really good game that went under the radar and I'd advise anyone to play it.

Has anyone installed Windows 10 yet? It was meant to come out at midnight so I thought i'd do both laptops at the same time but still can't manage to get the update working

Got Windows 10 installed after much trying. They released the iso file this morning so I just used that. Pretty impressed so far. Seems to have speeded my laptop up when opening stuff and has added a load of new features.

Still loving the new version of Elite, mainly for the new and varied styles of evil it allows - loitering in a prison colony system, picking off the riff-raff trying to smuggle various forms of smack into the colony, stealing their cargo, blowing them up for the bounties they have and then flogging the gear off at the black market is tremendous fun.
