Computer games.

I have about 3-4 hours left. Not to disparage the game, its extremely good, fun to play it has a unique story and people should buy it. At the minimum it should be nominated for GOTY. However this greatest RPG ever talk, uhh no. There are a few flaws + QOL things its missing and thanks mostly to the budget can be a little rough around the edges.
Greatest ever is a stretch honestly, a lot of things are lacking and janky - I think the biggest achievement of the game is the environment and care the game has received from a very small dev team and the product they've put out. Some of the jank would've been made fun of ages ago if it was made by another studio, the UI is atrocious for some things, and a lot of other small things, but they're easy to overlook given the context.

There are rumours circulating about a Red Dead Redemption 2 'remaster' for PS5 - but if there's one game that doesn't need it, it's RDR2. In my opinion, even seven years on, it's still the best-looking game graphically. I would much prefer a GTA 4 remaster for modern consoles, Simply upscaling it to 4K at 60 FPS would be more than enough, it’s the one Rockstar title that's practically unplayable on PlayStation, unless of course you still own a ps3.

It’s not the strongest RPG overall - but it's a fantastic turn-based RPG, it’s definitely one of my favourites.

Is Clair Obscur a bit weird in that way that French games sometimes are if you're not French? I was going to give it a go based on the positive reviews but then saw what some of the enemies looked like and that big thing that takes you across the water and just thought "nah".

There are mimes for enemies, french clothes, talking marionettes are their version of moggles. Its French as %$#@ but in a good way. Initally they had a fantasy London setting and it wouldn't have been as good.

The story is very good (and unique too), the battle system is really fun (takes about 3hr to get used to) and has one of my all time fav boss battles in the midgame for spectacle/atomsphere alone. The english dialogue and voice talent crush it.

The only flaws is that a lot of environments are samey (less so as the game goes on). There is an early dungeon called Flying Waters goes on for about 1hr too long that might rub people the wrong way. Plus the minigames suck (optional) and are impossible. But really that's it.
