Computer games.

Has anyone tried playing on Stadia? They currently have an offer on where you get Cyberpunk (ha!), the controller & a chromecast ultra for £50. Might give it a whirl at that price.
Played a bit of that new "civ beater" game a month or so ago. Was crap, graphics kept turning to absolute dogs every few minutes. Literally unplayable when it does it, and that's in a TBS game, god knows what it would be like for anything else without a rock-steady connection.

I live in the middle of nowhere, and while our broadband is fairly steady it is very slow (can't ever see them laying fibre out here). I think Destiny 2 is free on Stadia so I might sign up so I can test it out. At least the bundle seems an OK price just for the chromecast, even if nothing else is of any use. Cheers.

Destiny 2 is free to play on any platform.

Has paid expansions though.

Ah OK, I didn't know that. I have it and the expansions on Xbox, but I read an article a couple of days ago about the game becoming "properly" free on Stadia. In any case, will use it to test it out.

Thinking of taking the plunge and pre-ordering Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4. It DOES look smart... I'm currently playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and it's great fun. Since having a child and generally life being dominated by other matters, it takes me months and months to finish any game these days, especially an open-world one! I wish they'd make a sequel to Alien Isolation, completed that and thought it was absolute genius. Apart from the cliffhanger ending, like.

I don't understand the risk of preordeeing?

I've taken 2-3 years to finish fallout 4, Witcher 3 and red dead 2...

I still have a Skyrim save file on ps3 at around the 75 per cent mark.... I loved the game but never finished it.... I cleared Days Gone in a month, same thing with Alien Isolation, hammered it every night for about four weeks.
