Computer games.

I’ll probably hold off buying either for the meantime as I’ve got myself hooked on Kingdom Come: Deliverance and it’s a complete life eater. I’ve never properly played an RPG before and I can see how people get hooked and spend hundreds of hours on them.

One of the things I like most about it is there’s no sci-fi or fantasy elements to it and it’s very realistic in many ways. You start out as a peasant who is useless at everything and have to learn how to do everything from scratch, even read, which is ridiculous in all honesty but it gives you an idea of the depth to it. Every battle, even 1v1 is a huge challenge where you can quite easily die, so It’s a refreshing change from playing as a hero who is tough as nails from the off.

It’s based on true historic events too which is pretty cool.
The level of detail they went to was ludicrous.

I've seen YouTube vids of actual historians critiquing the authenticity of things like the clothing, buildings and interiors and it all checks out as historically accurate.
The only real gripe they had was the interiors of the peasant huts were too big, but the devs ''Warhorse' responded saying this was a concession to make AI pathing less troublesome.

It's even based and mapped on a real region of the Czech Republic.

I love W3 but really it's the story and atmosphere of the open world (and gwent, obv) - the actual gameplay is nothing special, combat is just R1 spam etc. It also suffers from immense item bloat where all of the 100s of swords, armours etc make little difference, which is giving an illusion of depth that isn't really there. So if the story isn't really grabbing you then it might be hard to get started.

youve summed it up well what’s wrong. There’s loads of items you pick up along the way and it’s not entirely clear what’s useful or not....what’s more useful than another item..... Compare to HZD where you quickly understand the weapon system/structure and items as you ease into the game.

the story is interesting enough and Gwent I do like, so maybe just need to read up on quickly getting the character to a decent level so I can ignore most of the items, and go ahead with the main quests. If I’m enjoying after doing that I’ll probably end up coming back to the millions of side quests.

Hello buddy what is your first name how are you doing today.

I bought a wii U for lockdown as the price of a switch hit the roof. I know it’s kinda looked down upon by gamers, but for quick pick up and play with your mates it’s the best going in my opinion

I for one cannot wait for Japassin's Creed. Was hoping it might be a bit more original but I love this type of game so I'm not going to complain. Hope it plays as well as it looks.

Looks great - VERY Assassins Creed influenced as you say, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Just a pity it's a PS exclusive really so I wont get to play it unless I invest hundreds in yet another gaming platform.. They really are one of the worst things about modern gaming.

It really is the absolute pinnacle of gaming for me can't see many titles surpassing it soon.

They have a new game coming in few months called cyber punk ye prob heard of itit’s in first person which Idont like but gotta get it for the fantastic world that they surely have built
