Computer games.

Hahaha my best memory of it was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That was a sensational game.
Back when the wife was just the girlfriend, she bought this. She played through it to the final boss and couldn't kill it, despite countless attempts. Asks me to do it (noting I dislike Buffy and thought the game looked rubbish), killed the boss on my first attempt, leaving a stunned, speechless gf......

Sega Master System wasn't it? Or was that called something else?
It did come out on Master System, as well as Genesis/Mega Drive.

Btw..... Sega progression (not counting Game Gear)

Master System > Mega Drive/Genesis > 32X/Mega CD > Saturn > Dreamcast > Software company that mostly kills peoples love for franchises.

All the while pushing out the arcade machines, culminating with the AM2/AM3 wonders!

Best Sega MegaDrive game ever.
Nah....good for its time, but loads better....FIFA (yeah, the original isometric 3/4 view), Madden 92, Red Zone, the Strike trilogy, Sonic 1 & 2, Phantasy Star 2, NHL Hockey, Afterburner, Gunstar Heros.....all off the top of my head.

Don't think so. The 32X bridged the generation then the Saturn came out, which was more powerful that the PlayStation and significantly earlier. Just difficult to program games for, and not as successful.

And, in a round about way, Nintendo is responsible for some creating the PlayStation.

But this is really for console gaming, as the PC was way ahead of consoles for gaming innovation and progress.

True, though back then was still the tail end of the Amiga - which had better games* than the PC

* apart from X-Wing and Tie Fighter

Arguable. Between me and my friends, we had an Amiga 600/1200, Atari ST and multiple PC's. Anything good on the Amiga was also available on PC.

Lucasarts games, elite..... In fact I can't remember any actual Amiga exclusives. But then again, I wasn't the Amiga owner....
