Industry expects RAM prices to plummet in a couple of months. That is what I am waiting for. I can get 8Gb of fast memory now for $110, or wait a few months and get 32Gb for ~$200

I have the corsair h110i GT...it is freaky having water cool your cpu..strange concept but I have my 8600k overclocked to 4.8 and it keeps the temps below 70 degrees and back to 30's in a few seconds....incredible cooler, I did have to change the fans for noctuas though as the corsair were loud when ramped.

Pro Evo 2019 is decent. It’s the first football game I’ve played properly since FIFA 14 as I got totally bored with it. I found the gameplay a bit quicker and more fun than FIFA.

It isn't really a problem for me, I had a job way back when where all the electrical equipment was liquid cooled (a 60/40 glycol/water mix).

Not really a strange concept like, plus water transfers heat 20-25 times faster than air does, so it makes it a natural choice.

I want to like FIFA more than PES, because it has the higher presentation values/licences and the better game modes. Indeed FIFA is better than PES in every single way... except gameplay. Which is pretty bloody important.

If you could plop PES's gameplay into FIFA's overall package, you'd have a great game.

FIFA 19 really is poor in terms of gameplay in my view. It's like an old arcade game - everything is too quick, flashy and unrealistic. It doesn't even attempt to resemble real football.

Agreed. I was pleasantly surprised when I first played Pro Evo 2019. The lack of licences and real team names annoyed me more than I hoped it would though.

To be honest, having to watch Everton every week, I'm not sure I mind this

Neither Fifa or PES are a realistic representation of the sport tbh. When you look at series like NBA 2k or Madden the gameplay they offer is a much more accurate representation of the real thing... they are more like sims if you put it on full realism settings.

FIFA and PES are just super dumbed down versions of the sport they represent. The atrocious AI doesn’t help.

They'e tarted up the menus in the new PES demo (or should I say efootball?), so that's something, I guess.

A couple of weeks after each PES is released, the 'community' release an option file as a free download which includes all licensed kits/stadiums/names etc

Same here but the menus pes are so behind fifa. It's a shame really.
