Spider-man is a funny one for sure. I started it. Loved it. Red dead came out and I’ve not gone back since. I will do one day though.
I’ve got Days Gone but had no time to play it yet. Which is handy as they’ll have fixed all the bugs by the time I get into it.

I've not had a chance to play it that much so far mate
Just sped through the story mode last weekend so that it didn't get spoiled for me and I enjoyed that. I like the direction they took with it and there were plenty of moments where I out right cheered
(Such as Sonya FINALLY killing Kano after all these games)
Have they announced who the DLC fighters will be? I've not bought the pass but if some interesting people get named I might
To be honest, I don't like the fatalities as much as I used to now that the graphics are better. They're just too gruesome for me now
I also didn't like how they changed some of the voice actors either. Rousey in particular feels like stunt casting, even though she didn't do too bad in the role
However, graphically the game looks amazing. One of the best I've ever seen and the game play is fun as well

Oh god yeah Rousey is terrible! I can tell that and I’ve not played it that much. She sounds like when she just got to WWE and didn’t know what a microphone does!
It really is gruesome isn’t it? Which I found ace!
I don’t think they announced DLC yet, but there’s been a few leaks. Weirdly Suicide Squad Joke being one of them.
And as one of the only people on the planet who liked Leto’s joke I’m cool with that.
Firstly, I loved Spider-Man. Had so much fun with it. Just swinging through New York was fun enough without even getting into the rest.
On to Days Gone. Played quite a bit of it now. It's good but not great. It's a fairly standard open world game and I worry it's going to get very repetitive. It is cool when you come across a zombie horde but they are easy to run away from. Never really feels like a tangible threat and there aren't really any scares in it. Also the AI of the human enemies is really bad.
That is surprising given you liked the Arkham games.
I would 100% say play God of War over Days Gone. Great game

Could never get into JRPGs. Some Friends of mine love Final Fantasy , I’ve tried but can’t. Turn based combat for one and the characters/voice acting. Strange, a lot of games from Japan are in my all time favs from the likes of Capcom/Sega/Konami, love RPGs also but never them.
