I saw this the other day, never played the first but it looks a helluva lot of fun on coop.

The original was an Xbox Live Arcade game. I think it was about £18 and only 2gb. Not sure if you can get it anymore but it’s great fun. Co op mode/online is exactly what the original was missing.

I had a nerd night last weekend with the Megadrive. Great fun. It reminded me how much I love co op games. The best way to play games in my opinion.

It's a shame, yet understandable, that this 'meme' about Dark Souls/Bloodborne exists. Because they're not unfairly difficult games. There's very little RNG in them, so much so that it's very possible to beat the entire thing without getting hit or without levelling up once.

Far harder games than them exist. The original Rayman on PS1, for example. 10x harder than Dark Souls.

Half of Dark Souls' difficulty is getting over being intimidated by its' reputation in the first place. I had that problem; now I can almost speedrun the thing. Not because I'm a master gamer; it's because it's honestly not that difficult.

Probably because u have learned the techniques on how to fight the different enemys. I still died alot though on my 4th rerun of dark souls 2.

It’s a tiny bit like GTA/Read Dead meets zombies as you get your own base which you can add to and build a community of playable characters, loot anything you can get your hands on and drive loads of vehicles. One of the best things about the original was that once one of your characters died they were gone for good, so it forces you to think more tactically and carefully rather than just go in Rambo style. I might play it tonight actually.

Gears of War was probably the last great co op game I played. What a game that was.
