Really enjoying witcher 3 so far! Highlights for me.

Beating the werewolf. That was a mission, took me ages to do it, felt made up when I finally beat him!

The moral compass. Kill loads of bandits , find a letter saying the leader wanted to feed his daughter. Saving someone from death and reluctantly accepting his reward afterwards even though he killed villagers to get it. Proper adds depth into the game, nothing is straight forward and you can't tell good and bad on first impression.

Can't find anyone to play gwent with though apart from the barkeep

You should be able toplay against any shopkeeper. Are you out of the first map yet?

@Dylan -seems big problems trying to disengage FSD when approaching a station? Im slowing down to minimum speed - the prompt comes up and i cant press anything (triangle on ps4). Bug? Ill reload but ive tried it on a couple of stations now. Im on LP - 98 132.

Yeah I've spent more time in vellen (?) And found a few more people to play with on my travels.

Just not touching the main quest at all, just exploring the question marks and doing all that. Only frustrating thing so far is coming across things I can't do. For example a person in distress but the bandits were too high a level for me to take them all on.

Ahh well, still really enjoying it and i know I haven't scratched the surface.

Also side point, I found the fools gold quest where they all turned into pigs haha

Typically you need to be under 1000 km/s and less than 1000 km from the station to disengage. Normally it is just the FSD engage button, but I would check your button mapping.

Are you getting the 'safe disengage ready' prompt above your radar?

Yep. A bit of button mashing and i am narrowing it down. Seems to be square and R2 which isnt how i engage it but ill get there!

Okay, did a landing in a couple of minutes on a turning station was quite proud of that. Figured out how to find some smaller missions to earn some credits and bought some grain to test selling it on another system. Whats interdicted? Sometimes i have to chase this circle or ill get interdicted? Dunno what thats about. Some guy tried to raid me and i didnt have anything so he left. Avoided some crazy conflict zones with some radical ships blasting at each other. Havent decided on which faction or wether to stay independant yet. Upgraded my shelving for more cargo.

Accepted a mission to find a part somewhere and thats where im stuck now. I travelled to the system and figured to scan the nav beacon? Tried that but its not shown me where the thing i need to find is? Had a look around and went back to where its saying the nav beacon was but now its not there. Im at a bit of a loss tbh. Might ditch it and try another one.

In the beginning everyone is better and dont even bother with the beasties unless theyre easy. Theres some crazy insects youll encounter too, just deadly. Go find the good armour and when you get to near the end you can infuse it with spells and beat everyone!
