Barnsley is very cold, I agree.
but Grimsby is colder

Cappielow, Greenock Morton's ground. Right on the coast exposed to the Atlantic winds. I went there for a New Year's Derby day game against St Mirren during a storm (I'm from a family of St Mirren fans on my mum's side) and it was too cold even for hooliganism. I've never had a worse experience.

I love Cappielow.

Proper spicy derby that one though!

Victoria Park on a cold February night when the weather forecast shows those thick wind arrows starting at the North Pole , curving past Orkney , hitting land 200 yards away and belting you full in the face. Love it, far better than sitting at home watching overpaid fairies playing in the Champions League

Went there one time when I was a kid .
The roof had been blown clean off the stand at the left hand side from the away end.

Yeah, really exposed, had a couple of very grim afternoons there.

Gotta say though, the coldest I've ever been - top balcony, boxing day 2015 (against Stoke funnily enough). Absolutely baltic.

Always thought Portsmouth away end was cold, open at the back and the pitched roof, used to funnel the cold sea winds right into your kisser.
