Wonderful news for us if season does end up voided; we were able to rid ourselves of Silva, his horrible half-season which had us in the relegation places is chalked off and ultimately the fact that we couldn't qualify for Europe wouldn't matter, and we ended up with Carlo Magnifico. Let's have that please.

And of course the other small little matter of...you know...

What is the alternative? All go to the pub get drunk, catch the virus take it back home, give it to family then next day off to work and share the virus with them?

So who do you believe, Iran, Italy, France, USA, or check your lucky shells after you throw them.;)
My post was a response to the suggestion that the Chinese govt can't be trusted when they give information. Not the advice on social distancing and hygiene, which has been given by the WHO from the word go. And which all countries, including China, have implemented.

Clever statement. If it kills much more he is proved correct in respect of how serious the virus is. If it's something under 20,000 then it proves that the advice of him and his colleagues has saved the lives of many. A win-win for Sir Patrick. But there is of course the other possibility -- that a relatively low number of deaths ultimately could be a sign that the measures introduced were essentially unwarranted.

Or the relatively low number of deaths are a direct result of the measures introduced.

Is exponential growth so hard for people to understand? We have to hold rates down to as low as possible.
