I wouldn't go so far as to say superstar but i also believe if his passport had dutch or italian or brazilian or british on it instead of usa he would have gotten out pf there.

I've said before mate many times in fact , I don't rate the MLS, it's not just American players , it's the standard , Clint Dempsey doesn't play in the MLS and just happens to be American and I don't rate him, at the end of the day this is my opinion, I know we have a shocking forward line but I just feel Dempsey is suited to Fulham in the same way James Beatie was suited to Southampton and if he joined a far bigger club who demand to be top 6/7 every year he would be found wanting , this Year we're ****e but I still don't want Dempsey
