As I said, this is not for me. I can't enjoy it. It's built on horror. The players are tremendous, the manager is inspirational. Some of the fans are ultra loyal. But, as a neutral, it leaves me very cold indeed when sport, at least on some level, was uplifting.
So if Inter had won you'd be full of praise for the other horrors or am I missing something here?
 
Worst I’ve seen City all season but they managed to get over the line. Some squad, some manager. All feels very unauthentic besides that, but fair play to those fans who went through decades of mediocrity and have seen all of their dreams come true.

What are you on about?

I would have preferred Inter to have won as the lesser of two evils. Inter, for all their many faults, are not funded by a human rights abusing oil state. Plenty of dodgy money behind them, sure. But there is no comparison between the likes of Inter right now and the likes of City or PSG. Or Newcastle.
