any recommendations for the end of march/beginning of April? About £250-300 each for 3 or 4 nights.

Nowhere freezing, and nowhere it's £9 a pint.

I was in Benidorm at the beginning of March this year and it was 90 degrees.

Mainly Spanish people and a few older Brits, so it was sound.

You could well do it on that budget

didn't like Barcelona at all.. over priced and dirty.

I would recommend somewhere in Germany. Hamburg or Munich

Sorry should've said I'm taking the ball and chain so whilst I imagine I'd have a riot in Benidorm I don't want her to witness that!

Went to Hamburg last year but only had 24 hours, fancy the Reeperbahn and a st Pauli game but again not with the boss.

If the boss is with you, not joking, if neither of you have spent time in Bristol, its a perfect place for a 2/3 day visit. Not a Berlin nor Paris, granted, but a terrific place to explore, what with few "must see" tourist spots to cram in.
