Chung-yong Lee

My mates a Bolton fan and he loves him. Said he hopes we don't go after him, but said if we did he would be a great signing.

The fact his team got relegated is not relevant. I've heard people saying they'd take Remy and Cesar, and QPR were awful.

When they were in the Premier League I would've took Holden, Lee and maybe even Mark Davies without question.

Haven't seen them play in a solid 2 years so I can't say now.

SSN said Pereira was hot favourite for the Everton managers job...currently occupying his time loading Saudi gold bullion into his bank vault.

christ, the standard of players we are being linked with (bar honda who we have no hope of signing) is beyond depressing, can only hope its all media lies...

Ok so if Honda is the type of player that you want (as we all do on the whole) but you think we don't stand a chance of getting him aren't you essentially saying we are screwed?

It would be worse if we were being linked with boss players and bought no one as opposed to being link with players that will improve the squad and maybe being pleasantly surprised by who we actually get.

Well... I think can use the one that i wrote in another thread.

As Korean, I think Lee Chung Yong would not be bad choice for Everton. Seriously, he is currently playing well in both Bolton (I watched some of his matches 'cause Korean telly broadcasted matches of teams that have Korean players last season) and the National team. also, will help for marketing in Korea. Besides Ji-Sung Park, he is most favoriute player for Koreans.

Anyway, When Chung Yong Lee rumor shows on Korean football news website, every fans are delighted to hear Everton is interested in a player. (Everton is one of european football teams that has most positive image in Korea)

Believe me. This transfer has no risk. We can still get some marketing fee from Korean companies. for instance, stupid 'arry rangers were received £2m from Korean Webgame service provider Nexon last season. Only reason was Ji Sung park play for QPR. Who Knows? maybe finally could get rid of Chang then replace with Samsung or LG. (y)

This. I think both players had horror leg breaks in one season. But they were very good.

It was that spell when Bolton played some sexy football for half a season under Owen Coyle... Leading to the "Coyle on" shouts

And with a better sponsor, hopefully some rich Asian will buy our club, and fund our new stadium nearby.

WAIT... So instead of sh*tty chang at half time we can get Mobile phone 3G services in Goodison?! SIGN HIM UP FFS MARTINEZ

He was brilliant in that 'good' season they had under Coyle. Intelligent and technical footballer who has been unlucky with injuries. I'd have him and Holden from Bolton any day

He is a good little player. He did get injured and then his team got relegated, but i'm sure he'd still be the same player.

I judge them on whether they'd make our first 11 better. He wouldn't, swerve.

This.

Good season or two in the Premier League, but coming back from a broken leg is difficult, especially when having quick feet is your main attribute. Never seen much of him last season, but he hadn't made too much noise with just 4 goals in 41 games. Another disappointing link. At this rate i'll be begging for the club to sign Bily again.
