You are just dirty. haha

I used to like firefox...the not long after the new update it went [Poor language removed] and slow, crashing facebok and posting on this very site. Updated ie and ran better.

Just installed opera and it's faster than both. Gonna give It a good run

I've never tried chrome, but use IE and Firefox, and just have a short cut for both on my desk top. IE gets used the most. I found when I used to build websites that it would look different on FF than it did on IE so got into the habit of using both to check, and done so ever since.

i'm getting problems posting on here and have to keep logging in etc.

brassing me off tbh, so here's the vid i was trying to post in the thread about the a.e.k fans, as i cant add a reply in that thread for some reason.

*this reply will cause a prob, it will work but i will get stuck on a page as if it is still replying

Start/settings/control panel/internet options/browsing history/delete/delete all will get rid of all the crap in your temps folder etc.
It will also erase your cookies, password, logins etc too, but sometimes emptying this can solve a few problems.

Chrome for me!

It's faster, easier to use, never crashes, most independent observers reckon it's more secure. Great address bar with search engine integrated and predicts url's. Easy to bookmark.

Clear winner in my opinion.

All browsers are free mate, well the ones that count, those which are not are going to fail.

Personally if I was choosing a browser I would obviously choose Safari. Reason being is that it renders smoother, the buttons are better and version 4 is one of the fastest. Plus you can use it on a PC as well as a Mac (that never used to be the case).

Firefox is very quick and very popular and I would always choose it over IE any day of the week, well I would choose Opera over IE.

Chrome is something I would also consider, mainly because Google is going to be releasing some pretty interesting stuff over the next few years and Chrome is going to be heavily integrated in it.

when i hit reply on some threads i get the following error.......

is this somethin i need to sort, firefox or d/d ?

running firefox now, seems to be ok but tbh i havent noticed much difference yet.

cleaned up the memory loads though, there was only 1% free, there were things i had tried to copy that were saved as VOB files, after i got rid of a load of stuff i defragmented my hard drive for the 1st time since i got the laptop.... 4 years ago.
my next task will be to sort out D drive, i have an external hd (1tb) for putting all the photo's and vids of the kids on, so really i can get rid of loads of stuff. so all together things are running more smoothly anyway.

ive just got my laptop fixed and have decided to try out chrome. Ive had firefox on the pc for months so fancied a change. Not much different , pleased with it so far... the change is a welcomed one.
