Christmas Day Plans

Nothing special planned for Christmas eve. Christmas day, I'll be going to a Greek restaurant with my family. Boxing day will be the best though. First I'll watch everton on tv and at 10 pm, I'll get on the coach that will travel to Merseyside to watch the home game against Sunderland.

Sit with my parents and sister as they open their presents. Eat some dinner and maybe a few choclates. Probably play some kind of game with my family. Be really depressed and hate christmas and all the [Poor language removed] that comes with it. Post on here.

But not neccesarily in that order!

Our Christmas day (Juledag) is the 24th, which will be spent at my in-laws (sigh). You have to do all sorts of crap like sing sodding songs, whilst linking hands and forming a circle around the Christmas tree. But the in-laws are good after they've had a drink, so that bit will be fun. Your Christmas day (the 25th) will be spent at home with the wife and cats and a few bottles of wine. Absolute bliss. :D

<dead>

Christmas Eve i'm going out getting hammered from around midday, my Dad's working Christmas Day, so will wait for him to open pressies, probs watch TV all day and eat and drink if i dont have a horrific hangover.

Family around Boxing Day and will probably go out that night.

That's a good point actually ! Is it frowned upon to appear on G.O.T on christmas day ? I 'll want to share my violent toilet escapades with you all.

Im sure every1 will sneak away at some point and share with every1 which family memeber you wish to kill. I think the typing will be unreadable from some the later it gets.

In 2000 years time families wont go to church, argue over the stuffing, [Poor language removed] themselves in front of Noels Christmas Presents or get pissed and try to snog their relatives under the mistletoe or other such festive traditions.

Nope, they will all post on GOT.

We were originally going to try to go up to Colorado for Christmas to see my parents but plans changed.

It looks like we'll have Christmas here instead.
I worked with a girl from Seattle and she gave a talk to the students on thanksgiving day. explaining that it was, in some ways, a more important occaision than Christmas in the States as everyone celebrated it. Sounded reasonable but be interesting to hear your views

xmas eve, prob be on here, all pressies will be stashed but darent put them out in case any of the treasures come down, will put them out before i go to bed then up way too early the next morn. open all the pressies, have loads of fights over the wii, full english, more wii, dinner at my folks round the corner, drink ale cos i wont be on call.
usually at some point during dinner the jehovahs will make an appearance, if the day doesnt matter to you can you not respect the fact that it means a lot to others, and if it doesnt matter to you why do you make a point of going out on this day every year.
they will be given hand signals on sight.

There has been talk over a GOT Christmas get together, a few months ago. Believe it was started by Sharpy back then. Is this still on? If so, what was the name of the pub again, as I'll have plenty of time after the match. Have been informed, that our coach won't leave before 9 pm that evening. Should be enough time to have a few bevvies with some of the GOT members.

get up, open pressies, take dogs for a walk wearing silly Christmas sweater and deer antlers - I do it every year, gives the neighbours a laugh:D then home , breakfast, few aperitifs with next door neighbours and play with their kids pressies.

Microwave on, dinner cooked, eat, drink, flop in the chair. Snooze, drink and eat and snooze some more.

Echo's of John Lennons 'were bigger than jesus' line. In a way the girl from Seattle was right, but how did it go down.
