like rooney? haha. i'd like to see us spend the felli money on mignolet, fer and benteke myself - of course this would increase or wage bill, but with heitinga off it, that may help. Rooney and eriksen would take up all of the funds, and it's not every year, we'll be handed £25m-£30m to strengthen the squad with numbers which is what we need to do more than anything.


not even sure why i'm discussing this tbh - eriksen will never happen, sort of praying for BlueWeasel's 1st that it doesn't in a way.
 
We'll sign a player who is really good but not very well known to the general public, like Fellaini and Mirallas.

Unless Moyes has already gone, in which case we'll get Charlie Adam on loan.

Well, I am not saying that these 3 players are better then Eriksen, seriously they aren't but if they have already so many young players at one position, then they may don't want another young talent even if he could be better than these 3 players, even Henderson can play there. They will blow their money on a new striker, DM and a left back IMO, as they need to buy new players on these positions way more than another AM. They could even have problems with FFP if they will spend so much money like in their last windows. Then it's in my opinion unlikely that they will try to splash 15M on Eriksen..
 

On the plus side, with £14M, Ajax should have the loose change needed to finally take Heitinga off our hands.

yeah buy shelvey and suso are gash - they have plenty of money, could offload those two and still be able to afford to strengthen the other positions. They'll get plenty of money for suarez in the summer which will help with that as well. seeing as sturridge is a world class striker they won't need to buy a replacement for suarez :unsure:
