Would you take Him in the summer?

I would have him before Lennon, that's for sure.

He looks a tremendous prospect........Lennon is fully exposed and as some other poster said, I have never watched him play for Spurs all these years and thought "cor, I wish we had him".

i wouldn't.

Don't think Atsus made for the premier league to be honest. Can see him doing well in a different league.

You cannot seriously praise him for being the victim of a dangerous foul by Coloccini? Any player could've stood there.

Sure I can...he worked harder than both players on the pen and the red. No way in hell will I ever shrug off a lad who works his arse off off for this team. If you want to slate him...go ahead, but if he puts in a shift like that every time, I'm sold and will buy. You can't teach pace...you can't teach heart.

No other player would have had the pace or nifty footwork to get that pen in our team, same with the card. He got there because he was quick, drew the foul because he was quick and had the sense to knock it past coloccini.

I have not seen enough of Atsu to make a call whether to sign him, I would not sign Lennon though, he has no end product just watch!
but he does though... he's provided decent crosses in every game he's played for us, some not so good ones too.

In his last match he delivered a cross that barkley was very unlucky not to score from.

Would definitely take Lennon, The Jury is still out on Atsu. We've not seen him in full flight yet so hard to tell. He got a few small chances when he had zero confidence and didn't even look like a footballer to be honest, but with his ACON performances and his limited showing for us since he's starting to look like he deserves a place on the bench. Whether he deserves to be in the starting eleven is a different matter, only giving him increased chances to perform will show us.

I am quite surprised at the number of 'We're in a relegation scrap and we're going to go down' panickers who want him starting matches, If they really thought we are fighting for our lives, now is not the time to be giving players of questionable ability game time in the vague hope they might not be posted missing and put a performance in. Surely they'd agree it's the time for experience and fight not uncertainty and blind hope?

Start him tonight for me, only fully fit winger, mcgeady may have travelled and will probably get 20 minutes or so, come on Atsu show us what you can do!!

I think Atsu is a slightly different player to the one I expected

I had it in my mind that he would be a quick wide player who likes to take people on

We've not seen anywhere near enough of him yet but there have been a couple of glimpses where I've thought that he has a touch of the Pienaar about him. Has an eye for a pass in the final third and seems to be able to move into pockets of space quite intelligently to pick the ball up.

Whether we should sign him is another matter, because we've not seen enough of him to judge but I doubt he has a future at Chelsea and there has been enough I've seen in a couple of little cameos to make me want to see more of him. That's as far as I'm willing to stick my neck out at the minute.

I Stil lthink we will be signing Atsu if he gets more game time over the course of the season now.

think the signing of Lennon puts a spanner in the works that we can only sign one of them perminantly but im sure atsu being the cheaper and younger option it will be him.

It worrys me we have to loan in our wide players after martinez doesnt play them if he can help it.

is an away leg of a last 16 Europa League tie which we have a slender lead in REALLY the best time to be lobbing a player on from to the start to see if he can hack it of not?

Especially one who's shown nothing defensively and only odd flashes going forward?
