Some players simply cant adapt to the hardest league in the world.

Im saying, based on what ive seen, hes a terrible player, I watched him a few times in the WC and he was utter rubbish, so far hes been rubbish for us, never watched him at Porto or in Holland, but both are mickey mouse leagues compared to the hardest league in the world.

Im not saying hes gonna remain rubbish, hopefully he comes back and looks a player, I doubt it, but I really hope he does, which will be great for Chelsea, yano? At the end of the day hes on loan, he was rubbish, injured and now hes gone to somewhere in Africa for abar 6 weeks, so forgive me if I dont consider him the African Messi just yet.
I think you're overstating how good the premiership is a bit. The biggest difference is the physicality which just takes some getting used to regarding fitness.

RM should have given Del the game time. Del did help us to a damn good last season.
I am a big Deulofeu fan but disagree he should have got any more starts in his first 6 months. A large part of his game is based on speed and when he first arrived he just couldn't cope with starting and lasting the full game against fresh defenders, especially when the matches were coming thick and fast. Mirallas can sometimes have the same problem.

Kev starting most matches but being withdrawn for Deulofeu around 60/70 mins with the reverse happening when Kev needed a rest worked very well for all. Geri probably should have got a few more starts on his injury return but he looked very nervous his hammy was going to go again and took him a while to regain confidence. We were in a battle for 4th at that point so little room to accomodate a loan players individual needs especially as we were trying to get Barkley and McGeady up to match fitness as well.

Pure undiluted triple filtered tosh.

In fairness I don't think anyone's saying he's suddenly definitely the absolute business. Just that there's hope that he'll come back and really contribute til May.

Maybe the difference is he's been drinking Um Bongo, they drink it in the Congo. We should get a supply ready for him when he comes back

upon further inspection the tournament isn't being held in the Congo. That's me out of ideas as to why he can't motivate himself to perform for us.

He should try the Umbongo Cocktail :

Vodka
Orange Juice
Passion Fruit
Passion Fruit Liqueur

Del should have played earlier. When he eventually started he was MoM against Stoke. The reason he didn't play him was because he never played Barkley, Del and Mirallas together even though I thought that was our strongest team instead playing Pienaar or Osman but it did make sense as they linked the play in the style we played. However I think Del has the potential to be a playmaker not just a speedy winger.

He did win player of the season at his last club and was very highly rated but in fairness has been hopeless when played. I just hope his form at ACON does t mean Martinez thinks we can do without signing someone.
