This is him proving he isn't.
If it doesn't show up in a royal blue kit by the end of the season it's probably a managerial/club issue, considering he's shown ability for Ghana Porto Vitesse etc etc etc.
Or you can just be stubborn about it and insist that he's rubbish.
Some players simply cant adapt to the hardest league in the world.
Im saying, based on what ive seen, hes a terrible player, I watched him a few times in the WC and he was utter rubbish, so far hes been rubbish for us, never watched him at Porto or in Holland, but both are mickey mouse leagues compared to the hardest league in the world.
Im not saying hes gonna remain rubbish, hopefully he comes back and looks a player, I doubt it, but I really hope he does, which will be great for Chelsea, yano? At the end of the day hes on loan, he was rubbish, injured and now hes gone to somewhere in Africa for abar 6 weeks, so forgive me if I dont consider him the African Messi just yet.
Not necessarily, some players just aren't suited to the league. This is him proving he isn't.

You don't have to consider him the African Messi.
Just be fair with the guy- he might very well be able to offer us a lot in the remaining games he has with EFC.
Or you can be impatient over his inability to adapt to the hardest league in the world, say there's no point, and complain when McGeady rocks up in our starting 11 again.
I agree with you that odds are stacked against him actually coming good. I mean he is about 5ft3. But as someone said earlier- if maybe the league will be too difficult an adaptation for him, I'm pretty certain he can offer us a lot in the Europa League.
I said when he first signed he needs time to adapt, ive given him time, I will continue to give him time, im just saying, currently I think hes a bit rubbish, thats all mate. I cant wait for him to ram my words right down my throat, it wouldnt be the first time.
I'd love for him to be able to show his talent at Everton. Admittedly he's been a worse loan signing than Lacina Traore so far. But hopefully Robeto's prediction of him being hugely important in 2nd half of the season is accurate.I'd love for him to be able to show his talent at Everton. Well its a shame, cos if he does improve, it will only be for Chelseas benefit.
unless there's a buy-out option
they only bought him for 3m, and he won't break into their team even if he absolutely dominates from when he comes back to everton.
he was bought by chelsea to be sold, balance out ffp.
In my book nowhere near as good as Del was last season, really wish we had been able to get him back.
...agree that Delefeu is potentially top drawer, but worth remembering that he took a while to get regular game time and even then spent some time out with his hamstring proble. I was hoping Atsu would make an instant impact (coming in from a World Cup) but it hasn't been the case. Be good if he becomes a useful option.
