Dont remember Delefleaueues lighting up the league consistantly, but we all know there is a decent player in there, players need confidence, i think Atsu will come good. Sometimes predictable having a left footer on the right wing and vice versa.

He hasn't been good, granted, but I feel for new players playing in a team that isn't playing well. I hope after time he comes good, shows the odd bit of skill to get past a player so something to work from. Needs to do a hell of a lot more though.

gotta agree with this. With Seamus injured all the opposition need to do is block the left and we're toothless. Any team missing the likes of Coleman,Mirallas, Pienaar who are so central to our play would struggle.

Drenthe had pace, that's it. He looked a much better player because he was on a team with James McFadden, Phil Neville, Gueye, Jelavic, Heitinga etc. He wouldn't play on this squad, well, no more than Atsu.

He has played two full games, most of another and a few mins against Arsenal. He is young and new to the club, and most importantly coming into a team low on confidence and in poor form. Most young players would be affected by all of that.

Ridiculous to write him off like that.
