If that's genuinely the case then we need to move on. Stinks of Chelsea being picky tbh.

Can understand wanting to ensure a young player gets game time tbh - would want similar options for our youngsters.

He won't get a game for Chelsea unless it was necessary. They want instant results. And he is 22, he isn't still a teen.

Who says we are waiting for perisic some lad off a forum/twitter? It's clear we want someone like del to come off the bench every now and again to try change a game it will be mirallas and sadly pienaar starting regularly.

We have imo missed a trick here we need pace on the wings

Everton are not so far behind Chelsea in terms of quality that Chelsea could demand one of their reserves could play regularly in the Everton team. I find it difficult to believe that Chelsea would demand such a thing.
They would however have seen how Martinez improved Lukaku and Deulofeu during their season on loan.
They would know that if Atsu is playing well enough he will get played,if not he won't.

I can't help but feel there is another reason for the delay. It could be any of a host of sticking points e.g loan fee, personal terms,Chelseas contribution to wages, buyout clause.

Don't listen to "ITK's" mate, sees us linked with perisic during WC, sees he's injured? Makes up story about jan and if it doesn't come off no one will remember or say anything if it does he's a hero win win situation that's why theirs so many ITK'S out there too many people willing to listen.

I would love perisic mate but after lukaku don't think we will be able to afford to spend 10 mil+ on a player.

I heard GD10 had penalty clauses where we paid more the less he played. Couldn't they have used this as an option for Atsu? I can see the threat of costing money being effective.
