Wednesday was the breakthrough. Atsu is desperate by all accounts.

I still think after Atsu comes in we need more players. If we can get 2-3 more loan signings in that would make a huge difference to the squad when the league cup/europe starts.
Very happy with this signing. It's a great opportunity for him to go up a level and get into a PL first XI and earn himself a contract at a top team at the end of the year, so he'll be working extra hard all year to impress Roberto.
If he turns out to be ace, £8m will be a bargain as he'll only be 23. We're sorted for wingers now too and have that little bit of extra pace we needed, which is nice.

Why would they want to? He hasn't even made an appearance for them. Doesn't sound like he's rated highly there.

Atsu probably wants to emulate what Lukaku has done, earn himself a permanent move here. Suspect he knows he's just a stockpile player at Chelsea with no future there.
He'll be desperate to impress here and will provide fantastic competition to our other wingers.
Couple more players and we have a serious squad for this season that can seriously challenge on all fronts. I'm excited.

Based on his lengthy interview on Youtube, he seems to be a very humble lad, who's thankful for his talents. I hope he comes, he seems to be an ambitious and hard-working lad.
