I think that's a shrewd opinion. Deulofeu, for all the fanfare of supposedly being Barca's hottest young talent, wasn't even the most impressive youngster in an Everton shirt last season.

Delf wasn't useless by any stretch, but a lesser player could contribute more if they played with their heads up and adjusted to the style the team are trying to play. Probably more game time for Atsu this year as well though tbf.
