Was told that its to do with budget and in particular how it could impact as opposed to affordability .

6 month deal would still cover most of the ACON I think (mid-Jan - Feb) so that makes no sense.

How? As far as I'm aware you can't bet on atsu staying at Chelsea and our only competition Sunderland pulled out. It's not a lukaku and wolfsburg/juventus situation.

To us it's not that big of a deal but people love to bet. There are odds on Atsu's next club and people do flux bets with what happens on ssn.

It's wasn't a transfer story though they were live at goodison discussing if lukaku was gonna play then the guy live there said everton still want a backup striker to lukaku but a potential deal for atsu has hit a snag.

I think it would be stupid to not believe them at this point unless someone else said differently.
