Nothing against Wilder, it's good the game(in this country) has some English coaches doing well. Please though no more flavour of the months. we are either serious about taking the next step or not, the next appointment will be very telling in my eyes.

Has done wonderfully well at Sheffield Utd. He understands the club very well and what is needed to keep them in the Premiership.
Every point gained is a point closer to safety and for them that is the holy grail.

What we need at Everton is a manager with a totally different mindset and the objectives of our club are totally different.
Safety for Sheffield Utd is a job well done, if a manager keeps Everton just above relegation he will lose his job, if he manages to keep it until the end of the season in the first place.

As said before this fella is a modern day Mike Walker.
Hes doing a great job with the blades under a lot less pressure than others (or so it seems).
Hes maybe happy at his club.
Nothing wrong with being ambitious, if he were to leave, while his stock is high.

Calling him Mike Walker is bit harsh. He has clearly done everything expected of him for the last two years. He is at his home club and to all intents and purposes, he should have a job for life there. I think he should survive relegation and full season to get promoted the next at the very least. He is a blades fan. He would be quite foolish to jump ship and potentially lose his job within 12 months.
I think that Dean Smith at Villa is in a similar position.

this seasons Wolves is it
Would you take the Wolves manager? Wolves are still a good side, they are struggling with the "first year in Europe syndrome." You need a champions league squad to be able to compete in Europa League and Premier League. If they qualify for the later rounds and finish top half that is a good season for a Wolves team that was in League 1 five years ago.

Flavour of the week again is Wilder..

This weeks other candidates are -
Dean Smith (Villa)
Brendan Rodgers (Leicester)

Pellegr..... ohh
Eddie How ohhh

Marco Silva (Everton)

Wilder doesn't seem to think that safety is a job well done though. I do like that about him.

Not so keen on his casual look and his tennis ball head though.

I don't know, I wasn't impressed when we beat them 3-2 they were just long ball/long throw in merchants, They've got a decent team but some really thought they were gods gift last season.

They play overlapping centre backs. He is certainly not a dinosaur as some seem to be making out.

I do find it weird how some of our fans can't wait to take a pop at a "lesser club" as soon as they get a bit of relative success.

it's like anyone who doesn't have a fancy name is automatically like fat sam and dyche

he's done an amazing job at sheff utd, said pages back though it's ridiculous of us to think we could just get him if we wanted anyway, he's a sheff utd feller through and through isn't he, fan, player and now manager

how the hell can chris wilder be 'flavour of month' when he has won promotion from every English league and got a unfashionable team promoted to the premier league on a shoestring budget (look at the squad)

that to me shows he has served an actual managing apprenticeship and in the right country for once, not some greek league or Portuguese conference divison..

wilder is everything a flavour of the month isn't lads.

his win percentage over his management career is quite astonishing.
