Just as I thought my weekend could not get worse, our neighbours win 5- 1 and top of the table. Clearly I was wrong it did get worse.

Nearly six decades of following Everton have taught me one thing.

No matter how bad things are.....they can always take a turn for the worse.

First up we get tanked.

Then the RS go on a scoring frenzy which takes them top of the league.

And if that wasn't bad enough, our owner takes to the airwaves to prove the preposterous Jim White really does have his ear.

And to cap a dreadful five days our manage belittles the club in the press.
