Decent effort from us so far, without the quality in the final third just yet. Just needed one of our through ball attempts to come off.

They've done a good job on Lukaku so far. Hopefully we get him in the game a bit more second half.

Not a bad half, we probably shaded it but unf don't get points for that. Mirallas and our defence all good, the rest pretty poo tbh, esp Barkley and Lukaku. Need to up their games as this really is there for the taking.

If it stays level much longer their fans will start getting edgy thinking it's going to be another humbling which will hopefully make its way into the players' minds.

Lennon for Deulofeu asap needs to be the only change. Just hope they don't spawn a goal before change is made as can't see us coming from a goal down to win.

Even though it wouldn't be a bad result, really would feel completely not arsed about a draw because it will just mean another game we fail to win, and we'll be losing even more ground on the teams above us.

As it stands we are eight points ahead of Newcastle and just eleven off second bottom... Shows how massively massively underachieving we are. Awful.

They're there for the taking, but how often have we said that when we've played them lot next door, and we've won exactly none of them lately. We're not so good at taking advantage of games like this.

We have played well so far though.

Good first half, all I ask is that we don't drop off and let Chelsea dictate the game. We are just missing the final ball most of the time but quite impressed with our footy. Lukaku looks away with the fairies at the mo so hope Bobby has a few words of advice for him. Oh and what about Besic though.

Notes

Rom's form has taken a little dip as of late.

Barkley and Mirallas have been very active; probably our best attackers this half.

I think Stones needs a Jagielka to partner with him until he matures as a defender (He is still our best DEFENDER at the club and you see what a difference he makes to that backline). It's not a knock on Mori as much as a knock on the partnership at this point in time.
