Not surprised, prices are a disgrace. £55 upper tier, £52 lower tier. Plus £31 coach.

£86 (or £83) is too much money for many people to pay, and to be able to justify, for attending what is just a football match - as much as we all love Everton.

The price, combined with a 12:45pm kick off, 6am coach (meaning getting up at 4:30/5am for people going) and it being live on tv has made many think twice.

Yes. If you've kept a clean slate it will help.

It's times like this when I do feel that Everton made a mistake earlier in the season.

Instead of Elstone spending most of the 'football improvement money' that the club received from the league on improving facilities for non-existent away fans in the Bullens Road (very laudable, but very naive as very few other clubs have done this; and also he said he did this because Everton 'always sell out the aways' - well they might not with this one), he should have used the money to cut the ticket price for games like this.

£10-£15 off these prices would have made the world of difference.
