It's not really luck, though - injury aside. We lack conviction in front of goal and defend poorly. We pick the wrong team to start with. I'd say you can expect to lose when you dig your own grave like we have.

I somewhat agree but starting XI was largely fine (sure you should start Alcaraz who came on in the 15th anyway) and we’ve probably been the better side. I think most days that’s 1-0 at worst going into half time. 2-0 just unlucky

All that “experience” from Gana for both goals ffs, completely switches off/gave up. That was nearly as bad as the Neville v Wigan half, madness he has started today and it will be even madder if he sees the second half. I wasn’t expecting a lot today as Chelsea just always have our number at Stamford Bridge but today we’ve seen the desperate need for 2 new starting full backs again. Countless times the ball just needs a decent cross and it never comes, Mykolenko has been dreadful going both ways today.

Alcaraz and Gana weren't covering their runners for both goals. Alcaraz didn't realise Barry had left it for him and Gana was just too slow.

We're finding space but really wasteful with it. KDH injury just adds a kick in the teeth.

How on earth we're 2 down is just down to poor defending. That's the top and bottom of it. We've been by far the better team for long periods and couldn't finish our dinner. The defence looks so much worse when Keane plays. He's out of position so many times.

Well, played with them for almost all of it, missed some opportunities, and then showed once again our lack of fullbacks. A couple missed opportunities because JOB cant cross, and a goal given up because Myko is too slow. We are two fullbacks away from being able to beat teams like this consistently.

Also, both goals came in behind Gana. I love him, but this was the concern about him playing today, he was too slow and too exposed in both cases.
