The irony is, a player that effects the game all over is the very definition of a central midfielder, not a number 10.
A number 10 has a very clear role - create chances, support the striker. If your number 10 is too busy doing everything else all over the pitch, then he may not be in a position to support the striker when needed. There’s a reason Barry looked a lot more isolated when
KDH played further up vs when Charly plays there.
KDH is good enough where he can produce the same things deeper in the pitch as he did further up - but had another player dedicated to staying closer to the striker to help the entire team and not just his own performances
I want KDH to play a blinder today, but this NOT his preferred position or long term role in the team, it just can’t be.
