Jack Rodwell.... anyone know him? goes 2 my school and im tellin you hes defo 1 for the future. He a centre back and recently scored at the new wembley

I agree with you about him what about basinas at mallorca

31 year old holding midfielder, that could have had the chance to join us in the January 2006 transfer window. He didn't fancy the brutality of the Prem league at his age and after 71 national caps, he felt he would rather bide his time at an easier pace where he gets time on the ball. Makes me think "Is that why Panathinaikos released him"?. Did he stop trying or thought he was better than the team? Hard call, but wht did soon to be relegated Birmingham, us (panic buying possibly) and mallorca become the only teams that went for him. 5 years earlier I would have jumped on him as a very hot asset. Good pointer though daz.

Just my opinion though.

Yes, I have been reading about him for 2 years, and watched him play a couple of times. 6foot2. Here is a bit more for you.

15 year old center half, Jack Rodwell captained England under 16's as they drew 1-1 with Wales in Carmarthen, this evening.

Never rushed, Rodwell showed competence both in the air and on the floor. The imposing 6'2" figure of his was a constant threat from set pieces, nearly converting on a couple of occasions.

England took the lead on 10 minutes through an unfortunate own goal by Chester's James Owen but just over a minute later Cardiff's Leigh Smith had leveled the game up with an instinctive flick.

Despite England being the more comfortable side throughout, they lacked composure in the final 3rd.

Nathan Craig was an unused substitute for Wales.

How cool, another one of our boys already captaining his age class national team. HOOORRRAAAAHHHHHHH

Ye hes a good player... played against him in school. My careers teacher told me manure and chelski are about 2 offer £1m for him. I actually dont know if he will stay... when the likes of united are about 2 offer £1m for you at the age of 16 you must be something special

Figures like that were being quoted when vaughan and vic were coming through. They got rebuffed at the front door.

Check out this fella. 23, talented, not brilliant, but definitely a cheap squad addition

He has not been a regular with his home club as he is always training and playing him as a winger, but he is an out and out forward. Good poacher too.

Gaz for offical G.O.T. scout! Beats Celtic and Newcastle by a couple of days!

HAHA, Nice one. Lets see if we can find another one.

Will get my scouting shoes on again.

Where do you get them Gaz, i love the did you know on the first guy.

The second looks like a bouncer in a kebab shop.

An ultimate contract clause if you ask me. it rocks. lolol

Basically mate, if I am watching a game on one of the many networks/streams I find and a player flicks my switch I go searching for as much info about the player as I can and see if there are many consistencies with the write ups on them, then I bookmark them and look out for them in the future. I watch all sorts, reserves, academies, friendlies, U18,U19, etc. you know the score. I dislike normal TV immensely, so it is a good way to pass the time when I am sitting in bored and coked off my face :P :P :P    (y) (y) (y)

(was looking at berbatov when he was 17, just a thought)

To be completely honest, my dream job would be a scout for EFC. Getting paid to watch football and recommend players for our beautiful club. They would have to be dam good to get a shot I can tell you. I am a fussy [Poor language removed]. I just don't know how to go about being one. I would do it without pay as a trial if I thought is was possible.

I believe we never made any bids. He would not have join a championship side if we have gone for him.
I will be disappointed and pissed if we pay 2million for bardsley instead.
