Chavez Government & Haiti

Chavez is an oddball, though perhaps he may have a point on the amount of U.S troops in Haiti.

As for the Earthquake weapon? Why would the Americans house the worlds newest and most effective weapon ( Well second most effective) in an unclassified research project? They even have open house events at HAARP.

But hey, conspiracy theories are usually entertaining ;) Tin foil hat and all that.

Dave it means believe it or not petrol rises at the pumps. The oddball will stop surplies in the name of helping Haiti.....Castro he isn't

I dont know about that Monty. I think he's right to be concerned about the U.S. operations in 'their backyard'. Anyone vaguely familiar with the US' past foreign policy in the region, and Operation Condor in particular, would understand Chavez getting jumpy.

General US imperialism I think is a thing of the past mate, if it was Reagan in charge then yes, under Obama just can't see it. Mark my words though oil prices will soar

Well Dave, Haiti is more in the backyard of the USA than Venezuela. What aid has Chavez given to the people of Haiti? Add to that the border problem with Colombia of which Chavez is getting more aggressive towards its neighbour. As for Democracy Chavez has ensured he is there for life and cannot be voted out, he is now when all said and done a dictator.

You want to believe the conspiracies theories from this man???????????

Massive surge in Afghanistan? Upping the ante in Pakistan?

Well, according to Reuters 'several planes with doctors and aid'.

You could turn that on its head and say that the US are arming Columbia...which they are...and harrassing the Venezualans. New Statesman - Coming soon to Obama’s backyard . . .

That's not true. He can be voted out, they just changed the constitution to make it that a leader could stand for re-election again and again...just like Gordon Brown could do if he wanted and he was popular enough.

No. I just wonder wtf is going on in Haiti with thousands of US military there with their thumbs up their arses by the looks of it.

Whilst we love our socialist values, being bad Partisaners, but Chavez has turned into a bit of a blert sadly who wants desperately to be/woo Castro but is a pale, pale imitation.
