2025/26 Charly Alcaraz

He definitely has attributes but he's inconsistent and not the type of player favoured by our manager so we should definitely sell him if we get any half decent offers.
The thing I never understand about this is every player we have is inconsistent, that's why they play for us.

The players Moyes seems to bin off because of it never get a chance to prove any consistency anyway as they only get minutes here and there usually weeks apart too.

Whatever the reason it's pointless keeping a player the manager patently doesn't trust.

…..whilst he can transition the ball from midfield to front, I actually think his greatest attribute is hitting the box late and he’s decent in the air. He can be wasteful in possession, not picking final pass when opportunity arises and he’s also a ball watcher, he loses the player he should be marking. His attitude is terrific, never forget him dashing off the pitch with purpose during the half-time break v Palace when he all but turned that game around for us.

Likeable and a good footballer but perhaps not best suited to this league.

I doubt he’ll be ‘one of Everton’s greatest ever midfielders’ @Zatara
I think his obvious talent and willingness to have a crack at goal would only get better with a good run of games. Moyes expects everyone to be in our six yard box when the opposition have the ball and anyone outside of that attitude does not get a look in. I don't want Moyes any longer, he stifles talent.

Cost the team a famous win against City by being lazy despite being fresh after coming off the bench. Inconsistent and gives the ball away in dangerous positions. The excuses made for this guy amaze me.
But consistently plays O'brien at right back, Tarks and Keane together, Mcneil etc who are at fault for goals and give the ball away, the excuses fot this manager amaze me....even though I'm not a fan or dislike Moyes

Obviously as O’Brien is seen as the best player in the squad for the position. Doesn’t mean he’s ideal, but our squad is pretty weak.

Players who only play in ridiculous injury time cameos do stuff like this because they have no match rhythm. It’s a dangerous combination, a team made up of players knackered in extra time combined with players who hardly play only just off the bench. Hence mistakes happen. Which we keep doing over and over again game after game.

If we subbed any position except the striker and one winger during the second half before waiting for injury time we might not make so many errors and concede so many late goals.

Eggs, their game time for Everton is not really starred with achievement is it?
Yes indeed you are correct but the way the club now measure success means they have achieved an increase in their values and for some fans that is good enough ,sadly ,not Eggs who is as hungry as me for something to show the fans who spend so much money watching terrible football .
