Really seems a perfect fit for us in terms of his character and style of play.
Talk before he joined was that he was something of a mix between an 8 and a 10, and that he had been moved on from Southampton and Flamengo as they weren't able to find a suitable role for him in their tactical set ups.
Not only are we one of the few teams that currently use that exact midfield/forward hybrid role that he like to play, but I would say its arguably the most important part of our system.
He will relish playing for us and I think he will blossom here.

Yeah, he’s the missing piece. He’s got that old school Evertonian fight in him. He’s got a Cahill type of vibe. I love that he takes chances out deep when no one expects us to. That threat alone gives us opportunities and just adds more things for an opposing defence to worry about.

Does doucoure weight that pass to perfection like alcaraz did? I dont think he does. He scored aswell. Doucoure has a goal in him at times.
But im more interested in the pass to beto. Its seems nothing but over a season its that little bit of quality thats putting wins on the board. So its actually lots more than nothing. A perfectly weighted pass was worth 3 points.
I'll be disappointed if doucoure starts after the ban.
