Reminds me a lot of Tim Cahill who was probably pound for pound the most effective player of the last 20 years.

I love Tim but what Tim could do with a football, Alcaraz could do with a potato. Remains to be seen how effective he’ll be for us but technically he’s levels above

Does appear to be the perfect Everton player so far.
Loves aggro, can play a bit & can score.
Still baffled why he’s been unable to settle anywhere over the last couple of years.

What I particularly like about him is he seems very switched on to what’s happening around him.
Speed he got involved with Jones on Wed, speed he seized on the atrocious throw in and the speed he went from appealing the hand ball to switching on to a goal scoring opportunity have been very impressive.

At flamenco people felt his style of Spanish guitar lacked expression. At Flamengo it was more about the football.

It's actually a really clever, composed finish from him too. Like he doesn't lash at it, and opens his foot up to place it with power hard and low.

I think he’s gonna frustrate but the talent is clear, Ndiaye & Charly it’s gonna be like Kanchelskis and Limpar all over again

So happy for him today. He’s a blue. The fans have already adopted him. Brilliant finish and composure. And I love him taking some cracks from a ways out. His instinct is to score and we’ve been sorely missing that.

The blue room had Tim Vickery on who told them Flamengo coach Felipe Luis, (ex atletico and Chelsea), came in and told Charly more or less straight away that he's not in the long term plan. That was after they had spent 20 million on him as their most expensive ever signing. This will be a very good and cheap addition in the summer.
