Changing your seat

I’ve never had a season ticket, so had the fortune of sitting in a number of different stands at Goodison, I’ve found that wherever I sit, there’s always at least one or 2 who will spend all game whinging.
It Increasingly seems to be the dead edgy lids.
They won’t dare cheer or clap. Just sit there all game sneering at everyone and hurling abuse for the slightest mistake.

Had one behind me on Monday who kept calling O’Brien a “big dopey shithouse”. Which although not inventive in the slightest, made me laugh.

Not sure if this has been put on here, or if this is appropriate.

But do you think the club will introduce something at the end of the season to change your seat, or swap it. because where i am now with my son there are some really negative and I mean negative fans, its doing my head in as it really does ruin the match experience, I know we have been awful for a long time but we are going through a transition and its going to take a couple more transfer windows to sort things out.

I am in the south upper at present

Standard process is

A) Renewals
B) Move Requests
C) New ST

So unless theyre implementing punishment by Boo, you should be sound.

Not that I have a seat at the stadium, but I'm not happy with where I sit in my living room so I have moved from the far left of the couch, to the far right of the couch. And when i say far right, I mean about 20 inches.

Have you found since moving to the far right of the sofa that all it wants to do is boot you out the country?

What's the leg room like, if I where you I'd stand.

Decent leg room but I have an obstructed view that comes into view about 20 times a match called the wife who likes to give me lots of grief

We’re lucky to have some nice people around us in our new seats but I’m struggling with the transition from standing in the Lower Gwladys to sitting down in the Upper South. Feels very flat and sterile. I’m not sure if it has that same feeling in the Lower?

Hoping we can get a move down into the Lower at the end of the season.

We have got Statler & Waldorf behind us moaning & swearing loudly all game about the team and the seats ("too high" - its South Stand Upper for goodness sake!)

Desperately hoping they move at the end of the season as they are ruining our matchdays!

I would imagine there will be many fans struggling getting up to the top tiers, if that was genuine from the club I would have thought that would be easly sorted.

To be fair it wasn’t too much to ask in a brand new stadium for them to install escalators.

To the left of me I have a woman who talks to me like this is my first season watching football and to my right I have someone who criticises every move our players make. I’ve seen worse though. Be careful what you wish for when it comes to changing seats.

I dislike my current seat (South Upper) as I am disappointed by the atmosphere and prefer standing during the match (which is of course limited in that area of the stadium). The redeeming feature of my seat is the view on offer, which allows me to see the entire pitch with ease.

From my perspective, the best area of the home end for an atmosphere is the South West corner. Unfortunately, I could not get a season ticket in the Lower South due to the lack of availability when I purchased my season ticket.
