Changing your seat

I dislike my current seat (South Upper) as I am disappointed by the atmosphere and prefer standing during the match (which is of course limited in that area of the stadium). The redeeming feature of my seat is the view on offer, which allows me to see the entire pitch with ease.

From my perspective, the best area of the home end for an atmosphere is the South West corner. Unfortunately, I could not get a season ticket in the Lower South due to the lack of availability when I purchased my season ticket.

was you not in the first pick or the bloody way everton sold them had everyone everywhere

Not that I have a seat at the stadium, but I'm not happy with where I sit in my living room so I have moved from the far left of the couch, to the far right of the couch. And when i say far right, I mean about 20 inches.
I've just bought a centre couch ticket on seat unique for the Palace game....Shall i fetch ale or is it provided😅👌

I don't dislike my seat, indeed the view is cracking up in row 58, but I'm definitely not used to sitting down for 90 minutes.

Not sure if this has been put on here, or if this is appropriate.

But do you think the club will introduce something at the end of the season to change your seat, or swap it. because where i am now with my son there are some really negative and I mean negative fans, its doing my head in as it really does ruin the match experience, I know we have been awful for a long time but we are going through a transition and its going to take a couple more transfer windows to sort things out.

I am in the south upper at present
Be careful what you wish for! Moving is no guarantee of 'better' people around you. AND if the majority of fans wanted to change seats the club would be facing a nightmare in complaints.

I only ever held a season ticket at Goodison in the Lower Gwladys but I was able to sit in all other parts of the ground at least once, with the exceptions of the Upper Gwladys and the away section of course. I sat through matches on plenty of occasions at Goodison but started standing from our game against Wolves in March 2022 through to the Southampton game at the end of last season. My view is that the atmosphere is far better when supporters are standing, but that is definitely not the only contributing factor to a lively atmosphere.

The transition may take several years of adjusting to new neighbours and a new view of the pitch. Maybe my advanced age is telling, but I am not optimistic about the poor atmosphere or maybe lack of it as people adjust. I always felt that the West Ham move was disastrous regarding their lack of atmosphere from twice as many fans in their new stadium. We shall see.

I asked if I could change because I’m knackered getting up to row 60. Only with a doctors note they said!
I saw a few blowing in Monday I'm row 63. I was thinking that folks could treat it like everest for the rows 60+. A few camps on the way up with supplies (San Miguel, Vegan wrap) then with a toffee doughnut to get you beyond Hill Dicky's Step (row55).
