Changing Forum Name

Back when I first signed up to GOT I didn't put too much effort into my forum name. Looking back it was a lazy attempt at ironic humour and though I regret it I wouldn't necessarily want to change it.

Has anyone else here changed their name or maybe come back to the forum after a break and just decided on a new identity for whatever reason?

Do you "Artist Formerly Known As Prince" it or completely deny any link to a past identity?

Were there real positives if you did or do you regret that breaking away from a possibly long established identity?

There’s quite a few changed their user name over the years mate.

I went with the supremely original EFC and my actual name and I immensely regret it but I won't budge now.

Nailed it first time, IMHO, but it begs for a little explanation...which was given at some point in GOT history. If I changed it, it would be to something Bainescentric but I can pay homage in other ways, obviously.
