It doesnt matter what formation you play, if the team lacks balance and the players arent sure of their role its never going to work, the Eto'o, Barkley, Osman, Naismith on the wing is probably the worst piece of tactical nous ive seen in my lifetime in watching football.

It pushes the axis of evil that was Neville and Heitinga in midfield very close.

Its not tho is it, its got some utter eyesore from the SPL for a start and in the attacking phase, what will those 3 CBs be doing? Yep, thats right, NOTHING.
