Really not sure it's a fine line. We shouldn't be the Sally Army (fine people though they are) or the KGB.
Don't remember Tony Kay, Bally or Reid handing out soup and sandwiches to the opposition. Although the message was rarely explicit, the 2 60's sides and the 80's sides could dish it out with the best of them on the pitch and our business decisions were ruthless. "... then something will be done."
It's honourable violence we need, then.
Dishing out thumping victories with no mercy, but doing it right and making no apologies.
This might have been done before but I couldn't see anything, mostly because I couldn't be arsed to look really.
As a fan base and club do we need to toughen up a bit and stop being cry arses about the way that modern football works? We often see other fans mention our traditions, the peoples club tag, we're always the nice respectful team that wouldn't do anything underhand etc.
I was going to write a whole load of things but I lost my train of thought, but basically what I'm trying to say is I don't care if we unsettle other clubs players anymore, I don't care if we push them into handing in transfer requests to force a move to us, I don't care if we chuck an extra £5m at a transfer fee to blow another team out of the water, it's great to be in a position to do that now.
Pre-takeover I probably would have said I wouldn't want us to behave in that way, but now I want us to be utterly ruthless and use the tactics so often employed against us to give us the best possible chance of winning some silverware, I honestly don't care what other sets of fans we [Poor language removed] along the way either.
It might seem arrogant, it might make us sound like bellends, but I think we've concerned ourselves for too long with what other people think. Buy all the players and win something please Everton.
More or less.
Drop the current motto and go for "Kill them till they're dead. Then go after their friends and families."
Oh, snap...So what you're basically saying is we're not Kopite enough?
*Sprints for the exit*

Then their pets.
Did Ray offer odds on it happening?Watching Ray Parlour and Phil Babb discussing the Koné transfer on SSN.
Babb and the presenter were giving Koné pelters for the way he has gone about things. You could see how babb was desperate to call it a sideways step and call it all money motivated. They media loved plucky over achieving Everton. They really don't like this new Everton that has a few bob and can actually compete financially.
What if we beat them with their pets?
Would be quite satisfying to clobber McGeady with a Dachshund or similar.
Snivelley is clearly a ferret keeper, not quite as effective
