I don't watch a lot of football outside of Everton. What struck me was the quality of the passing at this level. Really do hope we can improve this summer. 26 years and counting!

Which is why I said set for the next 6/7 years with 1 or 2 top players each summer. They sign a proper striker this summer along with another CM (Jorginho needs replacing) then they shpuld challenge next season.

Plus I think Werner will start hitting the net regularly soon.

I'm probably setting myself up for a huge vaulting in future, but I dont think Werner will ever be a prolific goalscorer. He's a poor finisher who snatches at chances and doesn't have that poachers instinct. I think they should look to move him on really.

Mad to think that at the start of the season loads were saying we had a great chance of getting in the top 6 because Chelsea, Man U and the likes were crap and struggling...

Both did struggle. Utd got some stupid VAR decisions too.

The problem is every year when we dont capitalise, is another year we give them to strengthen and pull further away.

Chelsea will sign a striker, Utd will prob get Sancho and another CB/CM for massive money and both will improve.

We only have so many chances to close that gap

If they get Lukaku for instance then they should keep him as an option as he causes defenders so much trouble. They only have Abraham and Giroud noe and both will probably go

It was a gimme season though. Pep will never have an easier title as the only other league contender was incapable of defending the title two months in. For this reason I had Bielsa not Pep as coach of the year.

It's like they have an innate belief that they'll win. We are the complete opposite.

Alison scored a last minute winner the other week. Our fans talked about it being luck, but the fact was he was there at the right time and they believed it would pay off. It was the same with United.
