Champions League Draw

Fair enough but I'm not sure throwing stuff at a coach is on the same level as the stabbings and beatings we have seen fans endure from some of these European fans. We all know what they are like we've lived with it for years and years (my son is a RS) but still I don't think we should be relishing people getting hurt because of which club they support.

Anyway it's going to be hard for me to agree with much on this subject because of my lad.

Yes we all know what they're like. Murder and chaos wherever they go in Europe.

I doubt a neutral city would want thousands of potentially belligerent Russians and Ukrainians descending in their city.

I bet it would kick off.
Probably not. But I doubt they could just say no a few weeks before its meant to happen after it being organised for a year or two

Usually disappointed by Barças draw as it's often teams I've seen before or just dull. Delighted with this one. Looking forward to seeing spurs and inter. Last time I saw Spurs live we beat them away with a pienaar goal.

Group D is like a Europa league group, that has to be the worst group in history of the CL.

2 teams who come out of that group have no chance in the last 16.

All the English teams will go through, this stage of the season the English teams are fresh as daises and at the strongest peak fitness wise Sept to Nov.

I think all the English teams except the rs will go through

What do the numbers in the brackets mean?

Coefficient ranking in each Pot. Holders Real Madrid being 1 and the Russian team 8. One way to debunk the RS "we got a tough draw BS story that's now doing the rounds.. They didn't get the top Spanish threesome nor Bayern or Juve. PSG are obviously no walkover but infinitely better pick for them than those five tough cookies.. Likewise Napoli - and they managed to avoid a half-decent side from Pot 4. It's critical they don't get a run to win the group.. - though I suppose they'll get a team from Group D in the last sixteen if they do get through the group stage.

Group A
Atlético Madrid - should improve on their showing last year
Monaco or Borussia Dortmund - BD have been brittle the last couple of years.
Club Brugge - probably making up the numbers

Group B
Barcelona should win this with something to spare though lately struggled in England
Tottenham Hotspur should be second, going well at the moment
PSV Eindhoven fighting out third with Inter.

Group C
PSG should win but depends how they go at PLUS (Premier League's Unluckiest Side)
Napoli and Liverpool toss a coin here..
Red Star Belgrade making up the numbers

Group D - all of these must be delighted... I'll go Schalke, Porto, Galatasaray, Lokomotiv

Group E
Bayern Munich may well get maximum points..
You can throw a blanket over the other 3. Benfica, Ajax, AEK

Group F
Manchester City, Lyon, SD, Hoffenheim

Group G
Real Madrid - Roma - CSKA (can they keep a clean sheet?), Viktoria

Group H
Juventus, Valencia, Man Utd, Young Boys... Europa beckons for Man U

The lack of activity on Facebook from the regular posse speaks volumes what they think of their draw in the champions league

If they had been in group D they would have been out saying how they were going to win it again. Dead easy this champions league lark when you’re playing pub teams at Anfield all the time like last season. Now they’ve got a decent group they’ve all gone quiet.
