Centre mid for Spurs?

With Seamus being brought back too soon (again) and injuring his thigh again, we're running out of options big time for Spurs. Loads of toothless strikers lying around but only 4 senior defenders and one centre mid left fit.

This is with the understanding that:

Coleman, jags, Ossie, hibbo, cahill, Rodwell, Barkley are all out.

Any of these close to making Weds? Barkley?

Obviously Fellaini will have to play awesome and very defensively, Gueye will have to be precaucious and allow Baines to bomb on. Drenthe will get the free role, with Vellios and Donovan needing to get in and around the box as much as possible.

And I'd rather have Drenthe, LD or Barkley in the center versus Bily. Everyone had a crummy game today, but there were a few that were even crummier.

I think if we could get a 1-0, or at a big push 2-0 from a set piece or something then if we defend as a unit and nulify the likes of Modric, then we could win.

Sounds like billy missed his last chance today. Many have said he just needs a shot at playing in the middle...

Sounded woeful by all accounts. Lost track of number of times commentator said he gave the ball away. Do that against Spurs and they'll murder us.

Would love to see Barkley in the middle with Felli, sounds like he's had a knock for a few weeks though (both have really).

It's gonna be a tough one. After 9 visits to White Hart Lane for me and never seeing a win, I can't see that changing right now.

Still going though! Got to get behind whatever team is sent out there.
