Centre mid for Spurs?

With Seamus being brought back too soon (again) and injuring his thigh again, we're running out of options big time for Spurs. Loads of toothless strikers lying around but only 4 senior defenders and one centre mid left fit.

Howard
Neville jonny distin Baines
Felli
Donovan billy drenthe
Saha Straq(or vic, or whatever!)

This is with the understanding that:

Coleman, jags, Ossie, hibbo, cahill, Rodwell, Barkley are all out.

Any of these close to making Weds? Barkley?

Moyes will presumably want to pack the midfield so, unless anyone makes a return, the most defensive lineup he could put out would be pretty much as you said. He could try Duffy at the back so that Heitinga could bolster the midfield, but I'd be very surprised if he did. Maybe he'll feel that McFadden offers more discipline down the left than Drenthe or Gueye? I'd imagine that someone will be asked to play on with an injury. As it stands, the strongest bench we could field would be something like: Mucha, Duffy, McFadden, Vellios, Gueye, McAleney and Forshaw. We've literally got no more squad members available and we could need to recall Baxter, Wallace and Garbutt.

Sounds like billy missed his last chance today. Many have said he just needs a shot at playing in the middle...

Sounded woeful by all accounts. Lost track of number of times commentator said he gave the ball away. Do that against Spurs and they'll murder us.

Would love to see Barkley in the middle with Felli, sounds like he's had a knock for a few weeks though (both have really).

It's gonna be a tough one. After 9 visits to White Hart Lane for me and never seeing a win, I can't see that changing right now.

Still going though! Got to get behind whatever team is sent out there.

He did sound woefull but he wasnt the only one, by the sounds of it no body on the fringes did themselves any favours today, especially the likes of Bily, McFadden, Gueye and Anichebe!.

We gave the ball away shiot loads today and got caught in possesion alot as Tamworth was up and at us and we didnt really play well at all today.

Wednesday against Spurs is going to be tough and im already ready to wash me hands of it and look to the next game as i dont fancy are chances of even knicking a point down there, even Snods on commentary said we'd be very lucky to get a point with the injuries weve got in the squad and with the way were playing at the moment!.

...............howard
..hibbert heitinga distin baines
donovan barkley fellaini drenthe
........vellios count straqula

10 - 0 win to us sexy football hard bstards

Bilyaletdinov was terrible but so were the other ten players. I couldn't give a man of the match today - probably one of the centre halves.

But by now we all know Bily is awful, and I'll be stunned if he's here for next year. We have to get rid.

So then we're saying:

Howard
Hibbo - Heitinga - Distin - Baines
Neville - Fellaini
LD - ???? - Drenthe
Saha

Right?

Challenges:

1) No one to play center mid as I don't see Barkley getting in on this either. So, does Bily get a run out after today (doubt it with how much he has been on the bench for our other league games), or does Moyes shuffle someone out of position (my bet)?
2) 4 players having played two full 90s this past week - Neville and LD being by two main worries. In particular Neville. He is already slow. Toss three games in a week on top of that? UGH.
3) Saha upfront. But with him not playing today, see him coming back for this.

If Hibbo can't go:

Neville (eeeek!) - Heitinga - Distin - Baines
Fellaini - ????
LD - ??? - Drenthe
Saha

Moyes has to play someone he normally doesn't, right?
